Garret Lepaw has enjoyed an illustrious career spanning all facets of New York City real estate, from the legal side to the sales end, to high-profile management positions. He started at Corcoran’s Union Square office in 2004 where he became a consistently top-producing agent, then went on to another prominent brokerage firm serving as a Project Manager in New Development, as well as a Sales and Leasing Director who more than doubled the revenue generated by his office.
Garret most recently demonstrated his exceptional negotiation and leadership skills, and adept market knowledge as an Executive Manager of Sales at Douglas Elliman, overseeing 4 offices and 300+ agents throughout Lower Manhattan. Wanting to get back to his roots, he returned to Corcoran as a new Senior Managing Director in the thriving Chelsea/Flatiron office.
With almost two decades of high-end real estate experience, Garret’s hands-on management style focuses on teamwork, collaboration, and the importance of education and development when elevating his agents’ careers. At the Chelsea/Flatiron office, he works collaboratively with Senior Managing Director, Tim Cass, to ensure their agents have the tools they need to deliver superior results for their clients. Their collective expertise, combined with Corcoran’s cutting-edge tools and world-class marketing, empowers agents to have an unparalleled platform to achieve success.
A cum laude graduate of Boston University, Garret majored in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and went on to receive his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He is a former practicing attorney admitted to the New York State Bar, who specialized in real estate, construction, environmental and litigation. Complementing his invaluable legal mind is the seasoned financial insight gained from being an equities trader on Wall Street. Garret additionally honed his business and tech capabilities as VP of Shopping.com, where he was responsible for developing one of the very first mobile apps.
Currently residing in the Financial District, Garret loves New York City and its diverse neighborhoods. He also enjoys spending time at his home in the Hudson Valley. His favorite pastimes include motorcycling, bicycling along the Hudson, gourmet cooking for friends and family, and playing electric guitar.
