As President of SRS Real Estate Partners, Garrett is responsible for the company’s continued national growth across all service lines—retail, capital markets, and industrial. He partners with Platform and Market Leaders to focus on generating growth through recruitment and new business development. Garrett also serves on SRS’ Executive Committee, the group responsible for setting strategy for the firm throughout the U.S. and globally. Prior to accepting the role as President, Garrett was Co-Market Leader of SRS’ California offices and he has served on the Board of SRS since 2016–both of which he continues to maintain as President. Garrett joined SRS in 2012 to launch the SoCal office in Newport Beach. With his co-leader Terrison Quinn, they have built it to be our largest retail office in the country. Garrett was also a founding Partner of the National Net Lease team in 2016 that has since become one of the largest net lease platforms in the industry. Over the last 15 years in brokerage, Garrett has been responsible for over $3 billion in transactions between retail tenant rep, leasing, and capital markets. He was responsible for some of the most notable retail and restaurant rollouts throughout Southern California and has been on leasing teams for high-profile projects in the Western U.S. Garrett has been in the retail real estate industry since 2004 as a consultant, development manager, and broker. Prior to joining SRS, Garrett was with Grubb & Ellis where he was a leader within the company’s national retail tenant rep practice group. Prior to that, he spent several years managing retail developments and taking large-scale shopping centers from start to finish with Thomas Enterprises in Southern California.
