Gary A. DeLapp has served as President and CEO of stayAPT Suites since its inception in January 2019, leading the design and development of the new apartment-style hotel brand. DeLapp is a proven leader and innovator in the extended-stay hotel segment, having served in a series of executive positions including President of Invitation Homes LP, and President and CEO at both WoodSpring Hotels, LLC, and Extended Stay Hotels (including the Extended Stay America brand), where he oversaw a portfolio of 665+ hotels and 75,000+ rooms nationwide. DeLapp intimately understands the long-term lodging segment and has been successful in growing profitable brands in this segment. At stayAPT Suites, DeLapp leads an experienced management team with specialized extended-stay expertise.
