Bio
Gary Arabian joined CBRE as an Executive Vice President in January, 2014. Prior to joining CBRE, he was a Founder and Principal of The CAC Group, where he lead the Tenant Representation practice group. Over the past 3 years, Gary and his CBRE Tenant Representation Team completed over 150 transactions totaling over 3 million square feet; including some of the largest leases representing Stripe for 300,000 SF, The GAP for 243,138 SF, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe for 168,149 SF. Gary has completed a wide range of tenant representation assignments on behalf of companies in financial services, law, consumer products, technology and non-profits. His experience encompasses a wide array of successful assignments including: expansions, consolidations, relocations, build to suits, lease buyouts, multi-market searches, building purchases, and lease restructurings/early renewals. Gary's representation experience has resulted in some of the most significant lease and sale transactions in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Prior to co-founding The CAC Group, Gary spent five years at The Rubicon Group. Gary serves on numerous non-profit boards including California Trout, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Governors; is an Advisory Board Member of Miracle Messages that connects the homeless with their loved ones, with nearly 25% of those reunions resulting in those homeless individuals getting off the streets and 80% in positive outcomes; and is a founding member and part of the leadership group of the San Francisco Chapter of the New Canaan Society-a men's group who gather bi-monthly to encourage each other in their friendship and faith, and to support each other in the marketplace and in their communities. Gary is a graduate of the University of Oregon, is married and has four children and two granddaughters.
