Since 1971, Mr. George J. Cibula, Managing Broker, has been involved in the industrial real estate market as broker, investor, and developer. He founded DarwinPW Realty in 1975 and has brokered some of the largest industrial real estate transactions in the Midwest. Mr. Cibula has been involved in the sale of large industrial investment portfolios for clients including CenterPoint Properties, First Industrial, Prudential Insurance, Lincoln National Life Insurance, and the RREEF Funds.
Mr. Cibula is the managing partner in 85 industrial and commercial properties comprising over 300 tenants in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Florida. These properties comprise approximately 4.5 million square feet of space. He has developed over 3.5 million square feet of industrial properties for both DarwinPW-managed investment groups and national institutions. In addition, Mr. Cibula has been involved in the acquisition, ownership, management, and disposition of third party logistics trucking, material handling, and overseas container companies. He also acts as a receiver for distressed real estate assets.
