Jerry Brand is an Executive Director for Greystar Development and Construction Services, with responsibility for multifamily development in the Western region, including California, the Northwest, and Arizona. Jerry has been active in the multifamily industry since 1983 and has sourced, structured, and negotiated in excess of $15 billion of apartment transactions during his real estate career.
Prior to joining Greystar in 2011, Jerry served as Managing Director at Pacific Urban Residential, an apartment developer and investor focusing exclusively on the California and Pacific Northwest. Before that, he was Managing Director of western development and capital markets at Fairfield Residential. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the National Multifamily Housing Council. Jerry is co-founder of the University of California Athletic Advisory Council and Real Estate Council, and currently serves on their Advisory Board.
Jerry graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in US History and from John Marshall Law School with a Juris Doctorate.
