Gil Russell is a Vice President within Lincoln Property Company’s Office Leasing Group, specializing in representing Landlords with the marketing and leasing of office properties throughout Atlanta.
Gil is an eighteen-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. During his career he has worked on a variety of assets classes including office buildings, office parks, medical, flex space, retail, and light industrial, completing over 400 transactions in leasing, investment sales, and acquisitions. In this role, he works closely with Michael Howell and Hunter Henritze, co-heads of LPC’s office leasing platform.
Gil started his career at Roberts Commercial Real Estate Service, a boutique full service commercial real estate firm where he served as a sales and leasing agent. In 2011, he joined Ackerman & Co. as a Vice President of Brokerage, where he was responsible for the leasing, investment sales, and acquisitions of office, medical, and industrial assets that were both company and third party owned. Before accepting the position on with Lincoln Property Company, he serviced as the Senior Vice President at Cone Commercial Real Estate. At CCRE, Gil worked closely with the company’s president on the acquisition and leasing of company owned assets as well as leasing and investment sales of third party assets.
Gil was born in Savannah and attended Benedictine Military School. He attended college at the University of West Georgia and the University of Georgia. Professionally, Gil is a licensed broker in the state of Georgia, an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and has completed CCIM 101, 102, 103, and 104.
