Gillam Campbell is Senior Manager for the Atlanta Research team, covering all market sectors and developing thoughtful insights through a city planning perspective. Prior to this role, she focused on the U.S. Industrial property sector with JLL, concentrating on Urban Logistics and tenant demand trends across the country.
Before JLL, Gillam worked as a mapping strategist at the Center for Geographic Information Systems at Georgia Institute of Technology while receiving her master’s degree. In that role, she worked on defining replicable geospatial methodologies to aid the creation of new databases. Gillam also worked for Central Atlanta Progress, Downtown Atlanta’s community improvement district on the Economic Development team where she was involved in researching business development in the Downtown area.
Gillam received a Master of City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in Land Use and Geographic Information Systems. In addition, Gillam holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgia State University, with a major in Public Policy and a focus in Planning and Economic Development.
After completing her Master's degree, Gillam received the American Planning Association and the Georgia Planning Association awards for exceptional student projects for her studio work tracking the effects of sea-level rise on vulnerable communities on the Georgia coast. The project was a Blueprint for Successful Communities publication in collaboration with the Georgia Conservancy and sponsored by the Home Depot Foundation.
