Grey Raines is the Managing Partner of Raines, one of the Southeast’s leading hospitality management, development, and investment firms. A third-generation hotelier, Grey follows in the footsteps of his grandfather, Rock Raines, who founded the company, and his father, Mark Raines, a longtime industry executive.
Grey began his career in hospitality in 2003 and has held roles across hotel operations and leadership, including General Manager, Vice President of Development, and President. Since taking the helm in 2013, he has helped grow Raines from two hotels in Florence, SC, to a portfolio of 19 properties across six cities and three states.
His leadership is rooted in a people-first approach, focused on cultivating a strong team culture and building lasting partnerships. Grey remains active in both the local community and national industry councils, and lives in Florence, SC, with his wife, Ginnie, and their three children.
