Mr. Widmaier joined NAI Global in 2021. Prior to working at Lee, he was a senior managing director at Colliers International. Mr. Widmaier has cultivated a broad range of commercial real estate expertise selling and purchasing diverse property types including landmarks, traditional office buildings, loft buildings and vacant land. Hank's clients benefit from his wealth of real estate experience which derives value through adaptive reuse which repurposes obsolete buildings into something new. An unencumbered vision of location alternatives liberates the forgotten into dynamic new communities. Mr. Widmaier's view of utilizing commercial lofts as dwelling space and identifying this value has resulted in his representation as agent to more owners of Tribeca's historic, 19th century mercantile buildings than any broker working today. His insight led the New Museum to the Bowery and the first new residential development on McCarren Park in Williamsburg Brooklyn. He also represented J.P. Morgan in a major portfolio sale of drayage warehouses which were subsequently developed into Chelsea Art Galleries & West Village office buildings (478,000 square feet).
