Mr. Hanifi serves as an Associate Director of Investments at Marcus & Millichap, leading national investment sales with a focus on office, data centers and industrial assets. With over 25 years of combined experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, and investments, he advises institutional investors and corporate clients on structuring transactions that align operational needs with investment objectives. In addition, he understands the ownership perspective with a family background in real estate
Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he directed business development at a $5 billion AUM RIA advisory firm, overseeing 500+ reinsurance portfolios and driving growth initiatives. He also spent time at a leading global wire house, where he developed wealth management solutions for high-net-worth clients. Earlier in his career, he built a retail finance company to $80M+ in annual sales, establishing strong banking relationships and executing strategic acquisitions.
Mr. Hanifi earned an MBA in Finance from Howard University, graduating Valedictorian, and a BA in Psychology from The George Washington University. He is licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, and holds Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses.
