Haroon serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Maverick Hotels, where he provides strategic leadership and ensures the continued alignment of the company’s goals, vision, and direction. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, Haroon brings over three decades of expertise in construction, development, and hospitality, having entered the industry in 1992.
His career began as an accountant in London in 1987, and since then, he has gained invaluable experience across three continents, four countries, and seven cities. Haroon’s leadership is distinguished by his ability to integrate corporate finance, strategic planning, human resource development, and government relations into a cohesive management approach. His problem-solving acumen earned him advisory roles to the Prime Minister (1996–1999) and the Chief Minister (2008–2011), where he spearheaded research, policy development, and implementation strategies for national challenges.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Haroon is deeply committed to social impact. He is the founder and Chairman of The Pakpur Foundation, a non-partisan, not-for-profit organization, and continues to volunteer his expertise to address public sector challenges. His global perspective, combined with a passion for innovation and community development, positions him as a transformative leader in the hospitality and real estate sectors.
