Hasmukh P. (HP) Rama is the founder and Chairman of Auro Hotels. He is the founding Chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and a past Chairman of the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA). He also serves as Chairman of Gujarat JHM Hotels Ltd., which owns the Marriott Surat and Courtyard by Marriott in Surat, India.
HP holds an MBA from Xavier University and an honorary Doctor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University.
