Bio
With nearly a decade of real estate investment experience, Hassan is responsible for the execution of SPC’s east coast retail strategy.
Prior to joining Steerpoint, Hassan was part of the US Real Estate team at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) and managed a $12B portfolio across retail, office, and student housing assets. Prio to CPPIB, Hassan was an investment manager at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW), overseeing over $500M in transactions. Hassan also served on URW’s East Coast flagship asset management team, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive NOI and value-enhancing initiatives.
Before joining URW, Hassan worked in Investment Banking at RBC Capital Markets, managing transactions for some of North America’s largest real estate owners. Prior to returning to finance, Wilson spent several years in the political and non-profit sectors, working on issues related to education and youth development. Hassan's career began in wealth management at Merrill Lynch.
Hassan holds an MBA in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Finance from Rutgers University.
