In July 2014, Heather Haney joined Cousins as Director of Property Management-Austin and became Vice President of Operations in 2021. In this role, she is responsible for all phases of operations, customer service and financial reporting for a portfolio comprised of 6 Million square feet and an operations team of 60. Prior to joining Cousins, Heather served as the Vice President of Operations for Behringer Harvard overseeing a 109-acre master planned development in Austin, a position she held for six years.
Immediately preceding her position with Behringer, Heather served as the General Manager for Equity Office Properties overseeing a 4M square foot portfolio in Austin and providing multi-disciplinary leadership to the property teams.
Ms. Haney’s career in commercial real estate spans 30 years of diversified leadership experience with institutionally owned assets, a varied array of public and private client entities and extensive work in all phases of asset & construction management projects.
