Herb is a hotel industry professional with formal training from European hotel and culinary schools. He began his career in Switzerland and Austria before moving to North America, where he joined Hilton International in Montreal. In 1975, he became a hotel partner in Montana and has since worked as an owner, builder, and investor in various hotel ventures. His board service includes Best Western International and the Montana Workman’s Compensation State Fund. Herb remains active in community organizations across Butte and other Montana regions.
