Hoang leads American Campus Communities’ technical services team in the execution of companywide technology enterprise solutions. These include ACC’s operations and maintenance platforms as well as our IT services for communities and residents.
Hoang brings extensive technology leadership experience to ACC. He joined us from Bonotel Exclusive Travel, a subsidiary of Internova Travel Group. As Bonotel’s chief information officer, he led the move to a modern cloud scalable vendor platform that allowed the company to rapidly grow its wholesale travel product business beyond hotels to over 1,000 international tour operators. Prior to Bonotel, Hoang spent 23 years at LaQuinta in operations and IT, eventually becoming vice president of applications, providing leadership and architecture oversight for the enterprise applications portfolio. He started his hospitality career in college, working in various staff-level positions for full-service hotel companies.
