Bio
Ian graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts before entering the Real Estate industry. In 1995 he purchased an interest in a Virginia based property management firm and subsequently built the operation to over 1,000 units. In 2008 Ian and his partners launched the BMC Group that has since developed, owned and operated a range of commercial, industrial and multi-tenant properties throughout regional Virginia. The development portfolio now exceeds 130 units of residential space and 80,000 square feet of commercial property. As a Partner in the BMC Holdings Group, Ian is responsible for managing the financial risks of the corporation as well as all planning, record keeping and reporting.
