A real estate veteran with more than 30 years experience buying
and operating commercial real estate, Jack A. Hidary is the founder
and Chairman of Hidrock Properties, a Manhattan-based commercial
real estate owner. As one of the company’s principals, Hidary oversees
the daily operation of Hidrock and is responsible for setting and
ensuring the company meets its strategic goals and objectives.
Hidary founded Hidrock in 1982, and the company has since grown to
become one of the few niche full-service real estate firms specializing
in New York properties.
In addition to his leadership role at Hidrock, Hidary also served as the
CEO of M. Hidary & Company from 1989 to 1995, overseeing daily
operation of a company with approximately 150 employees in four
countries.
Hidary is an alumnus of Pace University’s Lubin School of Business
and serves as a trustee of Maimonides Medical Center and the
Community Burial Society. He is also involved in the preservation
of a 1920’s landmark synagogue in Brooklyn, NY.
