Jakub Hejl is a Czech American investor, real estate developer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is the founder and president of Westside Capital Group, a real estate investment firm based in Miami, Florida. He is also the founder and Chairman of Hejl Foundation, a private family foundation, and he is also Chairman of the Board of The Wolfsonian, a museum, library and research center with collections intended to illustrate the persuasive power of art and design located in the heart of the Art Deco District of Miami Beach, Florida. Mr. Hejl founded Westside in 2017 and leads the company with responsibility for the strategic direction, risk management and management of the company and its investments. Mr. Hejl’s real estate transactional experience includes real estate transactions of different kinds in excess of $4 billion in the aggregate both in the United States and Europe. Westside is a real estate investment company with a multibillion diverse portfolio of assets and land throughout the United States with main investment themes focused on multifamily, mixed-use and data driven assets. Westside also has a multibillion development pipeline of entitled land it owns and is in various stages of the development process including planning, construction or stabilization. Westside also invests and owns operating business along the real estate value chain as well as other businesses. The company is actively pursuing investments in existing assets, companies as well as land for development throughout the Southeastern, Mid-Atlantic and Sunbelt U.S.
