James V. Camp is Senior Managing Director for Rockefeller Group and heads the company’s West Region, based in Irvine, Calif. In this role, Mr. Camp oversees the company’s strategy and operations for the region and leads acquisition and development efforts focusing primarily on industrial and multi-family development opportunities and joint ventures.
Throughout his 35-year career, Mr. Camp has held senior executive positions in development, acquisitions, project management and leasing with Starwood Capital Group, Voit Development Company, Lowe Enterprises, Koll Cornerstone and Trammell Crow Company.
He is the past Chair of NAIOP of California and former President, Vice President, Treasurer, Legislative Affairs Chair and Membership Chair of NAIOP SoCal. He is also a former board member of the California Business Properties Association and development member of the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors.
Mr. Camp holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan, with a concentration on marketing, finance & real estate, and a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude) in accounting from the University of Southern California. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in the State of California.
