Bio
Born and raised in the Midlands with strong family ties to Shotton Colliery, Murton, and Seaham, James brings a unique blend of discipline, local insight, and hands-on experience to Kimmitt Lettings. After joining the British Army at 17, he served nine years in the Royal Artillery, including tours of Afghanistan, before transitioning into civilian life with a clear mission: to build something meaningful alongside his father, Terry.
Armed with industry qualifications up to a Level 5 Diploma in Lettings and Property Management, James spent two formative years at Kimmitt & Roberts honing his sales skills and deepening his knowledge of the local property landscape. In 2013, he co-founded Kimmitt Lettings—a family-run agency rooted in trust, professionalism, and community pride.
Outside of work, James enjoys socialising, reading, and keeping active (he recently conquered the 10km Wolf Run in Leamington Spa). Known for his approachable style and surprising agility, he’s also got a party trick up his sleeve—a cartwheel that never fails to impress.
