Bio
James Marcellino is a Vice President in Colliers’ New York City office, where he focuses on office leasing and tenant representation. He rejoined Colliers in August 2026, returning to the firm more than 13 years after previously serving as an associate director. Marcellino brings more than 17 years of experience advising institutional owners, landlords and occupiers on office leasing, with a background spanning leasing strategy, landlord representation, tenant advisory and portfolio-level transaction execution.
Before rejoining Colliers, Marcellino worked as a real estate consultant, advising clients including the Bracha Group, Modernus Architectural Products and Christie’s International Real Estate’s Gottlieb Team. He previously served as Vice President of Leasing at L&L Holding Company from 2023 to 2024, where he oversaw leasing strategy for a 6.3 million-square-foot New York City portfolio and completed nearly 344,000 square feet of office and retail transactions. His L&L responsibilities included assets such as 425 Park Avenue, Terminal Warehouse and 195 Broadway.
Earlier in his career, Marcellino held leasing leadership roles at CIM Group and The Moinian Group. At CIM Group, he led leasing for the firm’s Northeast office portfolio and completed significant transactions, including record-setting deals at 16 Court Street in Brooklyn and a 30-year lease supporting the IDEAL School of Manhattan’s relocation to 5 Hanover Square in Tribeca. At The Moinian Group, he managed office and retail leasing. He also served as an associate at CBRE after his initial tenure with Colliers.
Marcellino earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Syracuse University in 2010 and is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
