James Merrell is a seasoned real estate investment professional with extensive experience in acquisitions, credit-focused strategies, and institutional equity. He currently serves as Director of Investments at Seritage Growth Properties, where he is responsible for identifying investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Seritage in 2023, James was an Acquisitions Associate at 60 Guilders, LLC, a New York-based real estate investment and development firm. During his tenure, he played a key role in sourcing, underwriting, and closing high-profile transactions across various asset classes.
James spent over three years at LCN Capital Partners, a global private equity firm specializing in corporate sale-leaseback and net lease transactions. There, he advanced from Analyst to Associate, supporting investments in mission-critical real estate assets across North America and Europe.
