James Millon is President and Co-Head of CBRE’s U.S. & Canada Capital Markets business, which includes oversight of the company’s acquisition and disposition services, strategic financing solutions, and investment banking services. Previously, James was President, U.S. Debt & Structured Finance, where he led CBRE's premier commercial and multifamily financing platform Earlier in his tenure, he was a Vice Chairman in Debt & Structured Finance at CBRE and Co-Head of U.S. Large Loans focusing on institutional debt advisory. His expertise lies in originating, underwriting, pricing, structuring, negotiating, syndicating and securitizing large commercial real estate finance transactions. Since joining CBRE in July of 2016, James has arranged more than $65 billion in large fixed- and floating-rate transactions ranging from single assets to large portfolios. To date, James has originated more than $95 billion in commercial real estate loans throughout the United States, spanning all property types. James has more than 20 years of experience with commercial real estate and financial organizations. Before joining CBRE, James was a Director in the commercial real estate loan origination and capital markets businesses at Deutsche Bank. While at Deutsche, he originated, structured, closed and sold transactions totaling $30 billion, earning a reputation for tackling some of the market’s most complex transactions. Prior to Deutsche Bank, James was a member of Société Générale’s large loan origination and structuring desk and began his career with MMA Realty Capital’s debt fund.
