James Roberts has nearly 15 years of broad-based multifamily experience. Roles ranging from financial analyst (debt and equity - NorthMarq Capital), multifamily asset manager (PNC Bank/ Red Capital), principal and most significant his 11 years in multifamily brokerage as Senior Vice President on Northmarq’s Dallas Multifamily Team.
While in brokerage, he was consistently recognized both locally and nationally as a top producing broker within the firm. In 2021, he was ranked 3rd overall within Northmarq nationally while personally selling over $1 billion of multifamily assets. During his career, he has been directly involved in $5 billion of transactions totaling over 50,000 units.
James has a unique ability to locate and negotiate off-market opportunities in today’s competitive environment. He has extensive relationships in the industry that give Brazos a competitive advantage with regards to market intel and targeting opportunistic acquisitions.
James received a BBA from Baylor University with dual majors in Real Estate & Management. James resides in Richardson, Texas with his wife and their four children.
