With more than 11 years of industry experience, Jamie Butler, managing director, is responsible for providing equity and debt financing solutions to commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States. Throughout his career, Mr. Butler has arranged financing for commercial real estate transactions totaling over $10 billion and received numerous industry recognitions, including ranking consistently among the top producers in the Washington, D.C. region by Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association.
Prior to joining Northmarq, Butler led capital markets teams at Walker & Dunlop and CBRE. With more than 20 years of experience, Butler has arranged financing for CRE transactions totaling more than $15 billion and has consistently ranked among the top producers in the Mid-Atlantic region
Mr. Butler received his bachelor’s degree in public policy and economics from Vanderbilt University.
Beyond the company, Mr. Butler is a member of ULI Innovation Council, Council for Public-Private Partnerships, National Multifamily Housing Council, CoreNet Global Emerging, Mortgage Bankers Association, and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Virginia, Maryland, and District of Columbia.
