Jane Marie has been in the real estate industry since 1983. She represents clients in Central Texas and has been directly involved in many developments of mixed-use master planned communities. Most recently she served as a Commissioner on the City of Marble Falls Planning & Zoning Board (5 years) before being elected to City of Marble Falls City Council (3 terms), as well as appointed to the Board of Directors of the Marble Falls Economic Development Corporation (10 years). She is currently in her second elected term (four years) as Justice of the Peace Precinct #3 in Burnet County, Texas.
Jane Marie grew up in Austin and attended Austin Community College and Southwest Texas State University now known as Texas State University. Since 2000, she and her husband have been residents of Marble Falls. Her youth was filled with extra-curricular activities and organizations - drill team, Big Buddy Program (now known as Big Brother Big Sister) and flying. Current interests and hobbies of hers include spending time with the family, water sports, snow skiing, cruising, and attending church. She is married to Steve Hurst, an attorney practicing in the area of real estate and estate planning, and they have three children: William, Daniel and Tory.
