ERHCo operates retail shoe stores in Oregon under the banners of Shoe Mill, Burch's Shoes, Footwise, and Jay's Wide Shoes. In 2020, ERHCo launched the its wholesale distribution and 3P.
Jared started his career as a inter-store delivery driver at the age of 16 while still in high school. After graduation he began working in a Shoe Mill store as a salesperson as well continuing to do inter-store deliveries. After moving to a sales associate full time, Jared quickly move the through the ranks and was given his first store manager assignment in 2002.
With success as a store Manager, Jared was utilized as a "fixer" for stores that needed a sales culture overhaul. In 2006 Jared was tapped to take over the Operations department in order to advance and streamline the technology of the company. In 2011, Jared was asked to oversee the store managers as well as operations resulting in the position of General Manager.
In 2020 ERHCo Inc. restructured the leadership of the company in order to elevate key employees which would provide role clarity. Jared was promoted to the position of Head of Special Projects. This allowed ultimate flexibility of position in order to provide guidance or support for the newly promoted staff below; as well as manage company leasing, procurement, and acquisitions.
In June of 2023, Jared was promoted to President of Retail while Josh Habre, ERHCo Inc. CEO, assumed the position of President of Wholesale. This allowed the two sides of the company to be managed independently with an eye on growth.
