Bio
Jared Melnik joined Bain Capital in 2023. He is a Managing Director on the Real Estate team.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Jared was Managing Director and Head of Hotel Acquisitions for the Americas at Starwood Capital. Previously, he was a Principal and Investment Committee member overseeing equity and debt investments at KSL Capital Partners, a travel-and-leisure-focused investment manager. Jared began his career as an investment banker in the Gaming and Leisure Group at Merrill Lynch.
Jared graduated magna cum laude from the New York University Stern School of Business with a BS in finance and international business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charterholder.
