Jason Sasser is the founder of Tampa Land, an advisory firm built to help landowners and developers navigate complex selling processes and the intricacies of zoning, land use, and entitlements with clear, practical guidance. Over a career spanning more than 24 years, Jason has completed in excess of $380 million in land transactions and developed a rare 360° perspective through hands-on experience in land brokerage, development, valuation, civil site work, and direct ownership/operation of real estate assets.
Jason began his career as a certified residential real estate appraiser, delivering opinions of value across more than $200 million in transactions, and later founded JSC Real Estate Group, a brokerage focused on land and investment sales. In 2017 he joined CBRE’s Capital Markets group, where he specialized in all land types—including master-planned residential, multifamily, office, retail, mixed-use, redevelopment, agricultural, and transitional land—advising clients through acquisitions, dispositions, and entitlement pathways.
A 5th-generation native Floridian from Dade City, Jason pairs deep regional knowledge with a pragmatic, technology-informed approach to market analysis and deal execution. His work centers on land sales and acquisitions, development strategy, and zoning/land use/entitlement guidance, helping clients unlock site potential and streamline approvals.
