As Managing Director, Development and Construction, Jay Cooper oversees the teams working on new, ground-up developments, major value-add renovations, and property improvement plans. Before joining Driftwood, he held similar positions at Kolter Hospitality and Turner & Townsend.
Jay has 20 years of experience working across site management, design team consultancy, project management, owners representation and development, with more than $2B in hospitality and mixed use projects delivered across Europe and North America.
He has a Masters in Civil and Structural Engineering from Bristol University in the United Kingdom. When not visiting Driftwood’s hotels, he can be found engaging in water sports or traveling.
