Jay Fetherston is the SVP of the team that manages Schnitzer Properties' retail portfolio including leasing, operations and redevelopment. Responsible for retail acquisitions throughout the western U.S. markets. Fetherston’s background spans financial, legal and municipal roles in acquisitions, development, repositioning and operation of real estate in the private and public sectors, including private equity, REIT, pension fund and government entities.
Jay's transaction experience spans the acquisition of over 100 commercial properties and includes redevelopment and repositioning retail shopping centers and malls. Previously, Fetherston applied his private sector skillset to Transit Oriented Development along Phoenix’s expanding light rail corridors.
