Bio
Jay Myers is a dedicated Real Estate professional who strives to provide both buyers and sellers with the utmost in customer service. He has held a current Real Estate License since February of 2006. Jay grew up in the business, as his late grandmother started Mary M. Myers Realty in 1983. Today, the business occupies the same location, has expanded its offices, and uniquely operates under the CENTURY 21 Myers Realty name. Despite the expansion, the business maintains its personalized service. Jay’s father is the broker of the office, and both his mother and sister also work as real estate agents in the same office. Having grown up in the real estate business, Jay has gained years of knowledge since he was just 4 years old, riding around with his realtor grandmother, assisting with her real estate work. Jay grew up in the Auburndale area and attended Caldwell Elementary, Stambaugh Middle School, Auburndale High School, All Saints Academy, Florida Southern College, and Polk State College. His family has been a staple in the community, with a strong history in education administration, politics, teaching, coaching athletes, and contributing to many other supportive avenues for the betterment of the area. Jay has held numerous service industry positions over the years. Most recently, he worked as a professional caddie for almost 10 years at Streamsong Resort, Shinnecock Hills Golf Club, and most recently, Nanea Golf Club, where he had the opportunity to meet and work for many prominent individuals. He also started his career at the age of 13, working as a yard service person with his grandfather. Additionally, Jay worked as a server for 6 years at Beef'O'Brady's, The Omni at Championsgate, as well as a bartender at the same location, and also at Jessie's Lounge in Winter Haven. He has even worked as a photographer for Homes and Land Real Estate of Polk County. All of these past experiences have focused on providing excellent customer service. These diverse roles have helped shape Jay into the person and realtor he is today. He is known for providing his clients with prompt service and always being readily available to address their needs or concerns. Jay keeps up with the real estate market by constantly educating himself with new information and technology. He strives to be fair and transparent in both business and life. Understanding that real estate requires working hours that fit the customer’s needs, Jay is always ready to go the extra mile for his clients.
