Bio
Mr. Shaw is a senior managing director emeritus with Bridge Investment Group, retired CEO of Bridge Commercial Real Estate. Bridge was a public company (BRDG:NYSE) with $49.4 billion in assets under management as of March 2025, acquired by Apollo Global Management in September 2025. A vertically-integrated real estate platform, in 2025 Bridge and its affiliates collectively employed over 2,270 people. During Mr. Shaw's time as CEO of Bridge Commercial Real Estate, it's senior executives as of 2024 had experience in the development, investment, management and leasing of over 50 million square feet of commercial property. Mr. Shaw retired from his role as CEO and now provides leasing brokerage and ownership strategies for select Bridge office assets in an agency role. He is an Atlanta native with over 31 years in the US real estate community, where he has developed strong relationships with the business and brokerage communities, allowing him to be consistently in front of leasing and investment opportunities across the United States.
In 2024, Mr. Shaw led the operations team at BCRE as CEO (2018-2024). Mr. Shaw has personally completed thousands of leases in his career as a commercial broker in multiple states and has held executive positions with COMPASS Management & Leasing/JLL, Insignia/ESG/CBRE, and Cushman & Wakefield, where he was responsible for leasing tens of millions of square feet of primarily office assets across the country. Mr. Shaw is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of REALTORS (over 1M members) and the 2026 president of the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS (ACBR) recognized as a leading commercial broker by volume in 2021- 2022 and top five in 2023-2024. In 2025, he was awarded real estate transaction of the year for leading the execution of a 210,000sf lease in Atlanta (Alvin B Cates Award). He was awarded the "Most Admired CEO 2022," by The Atlanta Business Chronicle. Mr. Shaw is the 2024-2026 chair of the National Philanthropy Committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, chairing Light The Night Atlanta in 2019-2022 with over 6,000 participants. He is a past board member of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce 2022/2023 and currently volunteers as Chair for a growing national men's ministry called Leadership Ministries headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia (www.leadmin.org) focused on training and equipping men to be better husbands, fathers, and leaders in their community.
