First Vice President Jeff Vertun is an occupier leasing specialist at CBRE and is based at the firm’s global headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles. Together with Jacob ‘Jake’ Bobek and Scott Steuber, Jeff is a partner in one of the firm’s preeminent Occupier Advisory & Transaction Services teams. The trio has completed many millions of square feet in transactions and assists clients with their local, national and international lease, sales, financing and construction projects.
Jeff’s specialty is in working closely with companies to align their business plans with optimal real estate strategy, and to help position their office and industrial real estate needs as a vehicle for further growth. As such, he works closely with executives to truly understand their businesses and analyze their firms’ real estate requirements for today and in the long term. He assists executives in understanding optimal workplace solutions to help achieve best results. Examples include incorporating sustainability and wellness concepts into office environments to improve health, business productivity and employee satisfaction.
From managing international real estate portfolios, to one-off real estate assignments, Jeff is known for his commitment, responsiveness and thoroughness and for his ability and willingness to make synergistic business introductions for clients through his network.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2017, Jeff held positions at Avison Young where he helped form and run the firm’s Global Technology/New Media Practice Group, as well as holding a position at Cushman & Wakefield.
