Jeff Barrett joined CB Richard Ellis in June 1977 as a commercial real estate finance specialist in the company's mortgage banking unit. During this period he was involved in completing financing and investment sales for major properties throughout the Midwest. In 1980, Mr. Barrett transferred to the brokerage division as sales manager of the Downtown Chicago office. Shortly thereafter he was promoted to Managing Director.
During his tenure with CB Richard Ellis, Mr.Barrett has held various office and line of business responsibilities. He is currently one-fourth of the Chicago region's executive management team. In addition, he oversees the Oak Brook and O'Hare offices and provides leadership for the investment properties, industrial and acreage practices.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Barrett spent six years in the real estate finance field.
