Bio
Jeffrey Schostak is the Chief Executive Officer of Schostak Bros. & Co., a Livonia, Michigan-based commercial real estate company founded in 1920. Appointed CEO in August 2026, he represents the fourth generation of family leadership at the century-old firm. Prior to becoming CEO, Schostak served as President of Schostak Development, overseeing ground-up development projects, redevelopment initiatives, and strategic acquisitions.
Schostak joined the family business in 2010 after spending five years with Urban Retail Properties in Chicago, where he worked as a leasing representative. He earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 2005 and was recognized as a Crain's Detroit Business 40 Under 40 honoree in 2016.
As CEO, Schostak leads a company with a portfolio of approximately 50 properties concentrated in Southeast Michigan and roughly 1,000 acres of vacant land. His focus includes commercial real estate development, asset revitalization, and long-term portfolio growth while continuing the legacy established by previous generations of the Schostak family.
