As Senior Director of Development for the Phoenix VanTrust office, Jenna Borcherding is primarily responsible for the identification, evaluation, and execution of development and build-to-suit opportunities in VanTrust’s primary asset classes. Additional responsibilities include coordination with municipalities, leasing negotiations, and the management of architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors. Jenna has over 11 years of experience in commercial real estate and was previously a broker for the office tenant representation team at JLL, so she is well-versed in leasing transactions both locally and nationally. Jenna is a graduate of the University of Alabama and moved to Arizona in 2011 to begin her commercial real estate career. Her achievements and success as an Arizona business leader have been acknowledged by the Phoenix Business Journal’s Landmark Leaders – Emerging Leader in Commercial Real Estate and AZ Big Media’s 1 of 10 Millennial Leaders in Commercial Real Estate. Jenna is an active member of NAIOP, and was named Best of NAIOP Developing Leader in 2017. Jenna’s accomplishments also include her recognition in the Phoenix Business Journal’s Class of 40 Under 40 for 2022.
