Bio
Jerry Cass graduated from Friona High School and earned a BBA from Texas Tech University in 1969. He went to work for the IBM Corporation as a marketing representative where he earned many awards and developed marketing skills. In 1972, he returned to the family agriculture business where he was the owner/manager of a large farming and cattle operation. He was involved in the backgrounding of cattle, the stocking of cattle on wheat pasture and owned a large herd of registered Charolais cattle.
In 1975, he married the love of his life, Karene. They are blessed with 3 children and six grandchildren.
In 1994, Jerry entered the real estate business in Clovis, New Mexico. He owns Town & Country Real Estate with his partner, Brett Johnson. He has been very involved in the marketing of large commercial and farm & ranch properties. He has experience in 1031 exchanges, financial and investment analysis, and a large base of clients in the farming, ranching, and commercial industries.
Jerry is licensed in New Mexico, Texas and Colorado. In 2011 he obtained the CCIM designation. Only 6% of all commercial real estate brokers hold the elite CCIM designation, which is the most coveted and respected designation in the industry. He is involved as a broker of properties and also does consulting.
