Bio
A licensed real estate professional with over 26 years of experience covering a wide range of responsibilities in the real estate industry, Jerry Devon leads marketing and leasing efforts to brokers, corporate customers and tenants for First Industrial Realty Trust’s west coast region.
As Marketing Leasing Director, Mr. Devon secures lease transactions, sources new properties for acquisition, and oversees the marketing of First Industrial’s available properties in Southern California. Mr. Devon also oversees operations for the San Diego region.
Prior to First Industrial, Mr. Devon served as Director of Asset Management and Leasing for Rexford Industrial where he oversaw the leasing and operations of a multi-state value add industrial portfolio. Previously, he served as Vice President of Asset Management for Deutsche Bank, a real estate investment management firm, where he oversaw the leasing, marketing, property management and value creation of a 16 million square foot portfolio.
Earlier, Mr. Devon worked as a commercial real estate broker with several leading firms. He spent four years at GVA/IPC specializing in the leasing and sales of industrial properties. In addition, he was a broker with Foster & Company, focusing on tenant representation of office and industrial users.
Mr. Devon serves on the Board of Directors for SIOR’s San Diego Chapter.
