Bio
With nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Jesse Paster takes pride in representing his clients and guiding them through their real estate needs to achieve the best possible outcomes. His clients include restaurant franchisees, real estate developers, landlords, chain retailers, local entrepreneurs, and everything in between. Jesse is well-versed in complex deal structures and is not afraid to collaborate with experts when needed. Whether it’s investment sales, restaurant leases, ground-up development, drive-thru businesses, or simple strip center leasing, Jesse gets the job done. His proven track record of successful transactions has helped clients reach their business goals and earned him recognition as a top retail broker at NAI Capital.
He is a fully licensed broker with the California Department of Real Estate. Outside of work, Jesse trains for long-distance cycling, skis with his family, backpacks in the local mountains, and enjoys relaxing with a good book. He is married, has two children, and resides in West Los Angeles.
Jesse began his career in 2001 with General Growth Properties, working in leasing and management for two malls in the Third-Party Division. In addition to management responsibilities, he oversaw the specialty leasing program, where he more than doubled NOI at both properties. In 2006, he transitioned to brokerage at NAI Capital, applying his leasing expertise to meet the diverse needs of clients in this complex industry. Over his tenure, Jesse has successfully completed a wide range of transactions, including restaurant asset sales, pre-leasing of mixed-use projects, land ground leases, and retail property pre-leasing prior to major remodels.
His client relationships and successful transactions include Shoe Palace, Sport Clips, PCF Restaurant Group, Platinum Energy, 7-Eleven, Decron Properties, AvalonBay Communities, Inc., Sandstone Management, Charles Company, Pentaco Management, John’s Incredible Pizza, Westfield, Macerich, Sherwin-Williams, Forest City, CIM, Thrifty Oil Company, McDonald’s, The Irvine Company, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Burger King, Watt Companies, Newmark Merrill, and Regency Centers.
