Jim is Vice President of J & R Management and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia. He has 45 years of professional experience in Commercial Real Estate with expertise in retail, office, R & D flex and industrial leasing, property, asset and construction management as well as REO stabilization and repositioning under performing assets. In addition, Jim has extensive knowledge in development of retail, office and multi-family projects.
Jim was born in Fort Rucker, Alabama. He received his bachelor's degree from Morris Harvey College. He is the father of two grown children and has been married to his wife, Martha, for 49 years. He and Martha reside in Martinsville, VA. He is active in the community and has served as a Director on the Foundation Board of the Virginia Museum of Natural History, MHC Chamber of Commerce, and CPEG. In addition, Jim is an active member in the Knights of Columbus.
