Jim Papalois is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the point-of-sale (POS) industry and consulting for restaurants and retail businesses. He works closely with clients to streamline operations, increase profitability, and navigate the evolving retail and restaurant landscapes.
A graduate of the University of Michigan–Flint (B.A. in Marketing), Jim couples academic insight with real-world expertise in both technology and brick-and-mortar business models.
In 2025, Jim joined Encore Real Estate Investment Services, where he focuses on the acquisition and disposition of net-leased, multi-tenant strip-center properties as well as restaurant and retail businesses. The firm is nationally active in retail investment brokerage and advisory.
Based in Troy, Michigan, Jim lives with his wife, Dena, their two children, Maria and Yianni, and his beloved West Highland White Terrier, Plato. He is proud of his Greek heritage and is fluent in Greek.
