Jim Weidner brings a rare combination of technical expertise, business experience, and local knowledge to real estate in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. A graduate of NH Technical Institute in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Jim began his career by founding Gap Mountain Drilling, a full-service water well and systems company, before later launching Weidner Services, a precision welding, fabrication, and machine shop.
That background gives Jim an engineer’s eye for property. He looks beyond surface appeal to evaluate the systems, structure, and details that can have a major impact on long-term value. Whether working with residential homes, land, or commercial properties, he helps clients make informed decisions with confidence.
Jim is deeply rooted in the Monadnock region and committed to the community he serves. He has restored historic ironwork at the Cathedral of the Pines, served on its Board of Trustees, and remained active in local organizations including the Dublin Engine Show Committee and 4-H. His connection to the region gives clients the advantage of working with someone who understands both the market and the character of the area.
Today, Jim also operates ERKAT LLC, specializing in the development and management of commercial and residential rental properties. This hands-on investment and property management experience adds another layer of practical insight for buyers, sellers, and investors alike.
