Joan K. Goodrich is a senior executive with a highly successful track record in economic and business development, fundraising, marketing, strategic planning and project management. She has served as an executive leader for municipal and county economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, a community redevelopment agency, an arts organization and a national charity in Southeast Florida. She is currently the Executive Director of the Business Development Board of Martin County, a public-private partnership for economic development, focused on starting, growing, keeping and welcoming businesses to Martin County, Florida while improving the economic well-being of the community.
Goodrich is Chair of the Martin County MPO Freight Technical Advisory Committee and a member of the International Economic Development Council, Florida Economic Development Council, NAIOP, NBAA and Leadership Martin (Class 30). Additionally, she has served as Chairwoman of the Florida Economic Development Council and on the boards of Enterprise Florida, Smart Growth Partnership and South Florida Regional Planning Council.
Goodrich received her B.B.A. in Business Administration (Marketing-Management) from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. She is married and has two adult children.
