Joanna Manfro serves as Managing Director of the Northeast Region within C&W’s Retail Advisory Group. With more than 15 years of principal-side experience and over $2 billion in closed transactions, Joanna brings a highly sophisticated institutional perspective to the retail capital markets. Her deep market knowledge, long-standing relationships, and hands-on ownership background differentiate her as a leading expert in shopping centers and mixed-use assets across the Northeast.
Joanna’s expertise spans JV partnerships, tax-efficient structures, partial-interest acquisitions, portfolio transactions, and value-enhancement strategies. She is widely recognized for her ability to identify and source off-market opportunities and to strategically position assets within suburban markets to optimize value and performance.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets team, Joanna held key roles at RPT Realty, Regency Centers, and Urstadt Biddle Properties where she significantly expanded their institutional presence throughout the region. Joanna is recognized for her disciplined execution, strategic leadership, and ability to deliver value for owners, investors, and institutional partners across the Northeast retail landscape.
