Joe Rubin is the principal and founder of Southeast Property Group, a Real Estate Brokerage, Advisory and Investment Firm with a focus on Multifamily Assets. As an experienced veteran in the Multifamily industry for over 15 years, Joe quickly realized the industry is built on lasting relationships and has since made “building relationships” a major focus of his real estate practice. With an extraordinary ability, Joe possesses a special talent for connecting with people and therefore has life-long clients and many strategic partners he works with.
Southeast Property Groups three main focuses all have synergies within each other and are built on a solid core of having and developing new relationships. With a detailed oriented and solutions driven approach, our goal is to help clients achieve their business goals and maximize profitability.
Prior to founding Southeast Property Group, Mr. Rubin served as Director of Acquisitions for American Landmark Apartments, one of the fastest growing apartment owners in the nation having closed deals of over $2.5 billion. Having sat on all sides of the table, he has seen the complete life cycle of an investment from different lenses with roles in brokerage, asset management, dispositions and as a financial analyst and has completed transactions that totaled over 25,000 units during his career.
Having closed many deals throughout the Southeastern United States, Joe brings a unique perspective to what it takes to get a deal done. Over the years, he has been involved in different sub-sectors of the industry to include LIHTC, Section 8 housing, seniors housing as well as conventional deals ranging from as small as 8 units to 950 units. Additionally, Joe has sold over 100 assets with the Auction.com platform and is currently part of a non-profit organization with a mission of preserving workforce housing.
Mr. Rubin received both his Master of Science in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Florida. He also earned the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation and is a licensed real estate broker in Florida.
