Joel specializes in last-mile network optimization using predictive analytics and modeling to anticipate future demand and supports advanced manufacturers with fully customizable labor analytics to identify areas of talent for occupiers looking to scale within the Bay Area and nationally. During his time in Research, Joel developed the NorCal Industrial Momentum Index as a tool to better understand the demand drivers and industrial readiness of municipalities across the region, a tool that has been replicated in other JLL industrial markets. More recently, Joel is a member of the Advanced Mobility and Energy group advising companies ranging from start-ups to household names on their labor and locational strategies. Outside of site selection, Joel uses his knowledge to educate investors and government leaders on advanced manufacturing trends to promote expansion of the industry both nationally and within Northern California.
