John Haddad's journey into real estate was years in the making influenced by a family deeply rooted in property, design, and entrepreneurship. His grandfather was a real estate developer in Syria, his mother is an interior designer, and his uncle successfully practiced real estate in Montreal for over 20 years. Growing up in this environment, John developed an early passion for homes, neighbourhoods, and the people who bring them to life. After moving to Ottawa 19 years ago, John went on to graduate from St. Patrick's High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Forensic Psychology at Carleton University. His path took him through diverse and high-performance roles serving in the Royal Canadian Navy, excelling in sales leadership at Best Buy, and continuing to serve the community as an Auxiliary Constable with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Each of these experiences sharpened his discipline, resilience, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life. John entered real estate with the same drive that fueled his earlier successes. In his very first year, he sold over 35 homes a rare achievement that showcased both his work ethic and natural talent for negotiation and client care. Now entering his third year in the industry, John has earned the RE/MAX 100% Club Award two years in a row and was nominated Realtor of the Year in both 2024 and 2025. Clients know John for his integrity, persistence, and community-first mindset. His multicultural background, proudly Syrian and Lebanese, allows him to connect authentically with Ottawa's diverse communities, particularly the city's vibrant Lebanese community. Fluent in Arabic and English, John ensures his clients' properties are marketed to a wider audience, putting homes in front of more buyers and creating more opportunities for success. Beyond sales, John is passionate about community service. Through his volunteer role with the OPP, he contributes to building safer neighbourhoods, while his involvement in local initiatives reflects his commitment to giving back to the city he calls home. As the youngest of three siblings with a brother and sister both in the medical field, John's family values of service, care, and professionalism run deep in his own career.
